Didier Kompani was born in Kananga (Democratic Republic of Congo). He stayed there and went to school between Kikwit and Kinshasa where he passed the Bac C. (Mathematic and Physic secondary Diploma).
Willing to go further, he travelled to Gabon and stayed in Port-Gentil. He unfortunately couldn't purshue his studies for many reasons.
In 1998, Didier joined a Christian Band "Portes des cieux" as a vocal leader.
In 2004, he left the band and started singing on his own.
His first album "Ntina nde" was made available in 2007. This album presents three basic elements: commitment, origins and Faith. It got people into a committed panafricanist universe inspired by Jesus-Christ who recommends Love, Peace, Humility and Faith.
