Group consisting of Francisco Pestana from Monte do Trigo, Francisco Melo and Tiago Pinto from Santana, municipality of Portel (Évora). The members are between 17 and 22 years old, and use Voice and Viola Campaniça (traditional guitar from the Alentejo region) to interpret their repertoire consisting of “Modas” from the "Cancioneiro Tradicional Alentejano" (Traditional Oral Repertoire from the Alentejo region).

The name “Os Dona Zéfinha” is an homage to a lady born and raised in Portel (although now deceased) named Josefa Inácia Prego, better known as “Ceginha” or “Zéfinha de Portel”. Despite being blind, she played several instruments, such as the Viola Campaniça and sang at dances and pilgrimages, mainly in her county and also in southern Alentejo.

At the moment, the group has two record works “A Moda da Zéfinha” and “A Menina Dança, tem Par ou Descansa ?”, has played in several events all over the country, and has started its journey of internationalization having already performed in Toronto, Canada. They have also participated in two mainstream TV shows, “Got Talent Portugal” on RTP 1 and “All Together Now” on TVI, where they received notorious recognition.
