Birmingham based acoustic trio on a musical worldtour,With their name meaning "three" in three separate languages (Se in Kurdish, Tin in Hindi, Saba in Mandinka), it's unsurprising that not only are Se TinSaba a trio, but also that they draw from styles from across the globe. In fact they provide an absolute masterclass in musical multiculturalism, seamlessly fusing the sounds of the Middle East, India and West Africa to delightful effect. This is no awkward or artificial forcing together of unconnected styles and traditions. It's a genuine meeting of minds and of kindred spirits, with the kora, oud, guitars, tabla and cajon communing to produce something rather special indeed.
