Tamy's music is Bossa Nova with a 21st Century twist. Hailing from Vitoria, Brazil, the singer/songwriter mixes MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira) with electronic beats, croons to the swing of Rio's famous samba-funk and sings softly alongside Afro-Brazilian grooves. Add to the mix her melodic vocal arrangements and a danceable beat and you have something everyone can appreciate

In 2004, she released her first CD "Soul mais Bossa" distributed nacionally by Tratore through the carioca label ScudPromo (the first audition of this record happened in England because first Tamy had signed a contract with an English label. The second show wa in Teatro Carlos Gomes, Vitoria, with a great review. Tamy has played with many famous brazilian artists as Joao Bosco, Claudio Zoli, Paralamas do Sucesso and has also participated singing in the play list of DJ Marcelinho da Lua which permitted her to compose with Dalua the song "Transformacao" which is one of the songs in Dalua new CD.

Tamy has also composed with Donatinho, the son of the great musician Joao Donato. The song "Azymuth" is in the first CD of the musician and producer Donatinho that is going to be released in the second semester of 2007. Tamy has put the song "Tanto Faz" from the Soul mais Bossa CD in the project Smoking that is a compilation of the brazilian modern music launched in May 2007 by the label ST2. It is important to mention that Soul mais Bossa was also released in Ukraine and Japan. The musical style of this artist is the democratic brazilian popular music that accepts different mixtures and textures. In her repertoire Tamy presents the compositions done during these years.
