SEGUE is a not-for-profit creative enterprise which incubates, develops, produces and presents an eclectic mix of music led and cross artform performance and education projects. SEGUE was founded in 2006 by Fiona Mason and is based in Wivenhoe near Colchester in Essex, UK.

Projects/Activities:

SEGUE Records: established in 2008 with the release of SEMENTES by the Adriano Adewale Group. Second release RAIZES due in September 2010.

SEGUE Productions: producer of music led cross-art form performance projects. Recent projects include Adriano Adewale:Sound Journey (in Association with the Lakeside Theatre)and Soul Play (Kate Flatt Projects). Upcoming projects incude Songs from a Hotel Bedroom (Co-produced with the New Wolsey Theatre, Watford Palace Theatre and co-commissioned by the Royal Opera House).

SEGUE Live!: producer and promoter of live music and performance. Regular season Jazz at the Lakeside and 21-23 May 2010 Festival Brasileiro both at the University of Essex Colchester.

SEGUE Learning: workshops and education projects in partnership with other organisations and artists. Current project sees associate artist Adriano Adewale working with the youth jazz ensembles of the Essex County Music Services. The groups are learning new repertoire which will be performed in May at Festival Brasileiro.

SEGUE Creative Consultancy: consultancy services to the arts and cultural sectors across artforms, specialising in prganisational development, business planning and fundraising.
