Muzikawi, launched in 2021 by Selam, is a music company dedicated to empowering Ethiopian creatives and elevating Ethiopian music on the global stage. It offers services such as music publishing, artist management, and professional music production. Muzikawi strives to uphold fair practices while blending international music industry standards with Ethiopia’s rich musical heritage.
The Addis Jazz Festival is one of Selam Ethiopia's and Muzikawi's key initiatives. It celebrates Ethiopian jazz while fostering cultural exchange and uniting diverse audiences. The festival is a vibrant platform for showcasing local and international talents, driving the global recognition of Ethio-jazz, and contributing to Ethiopia's cultural scene.
