Finnish-Japanese singer-songwriter Serita will release her new EP Kitsune No Koe (The Voice of the Fox) on October 10. The EP includes a brand-new, previously unreleased track: Erase Me (written and composed by Anna Serita, produced and arranged by Lauri Hämäläinen). Erase Me explores how the external world can offer material comfort—a house, a body, even money—but how those things never truly fulfill the deeper need for belonging, acceptance, and love.
The title of the EP, Kitsune No Koe (The Voice of the Fox), is rooted in Japanese mythology and the mystique of nature. The kitsune, or fox, is known for its intelligence and magical abilities, but it is also a symbol of transformation and transition. The fox lives in two worlds: the human and the spiritual. It is cunning and enigmatic, and its voice can represent something deeply hidden—pain, hope, or that quiet but persistent feeling that isn’t always heard, yet is undeniably present.
Kitsune No Koe is a collection of songs that delve into themes of change, discovering love, and awakening inner strength. The mood of the EP flows through hope, longing, and inner struggle—the kinds of moments that are rarely spoken out loud.
The EP will be released on all streaming platforms on Friday, October 24, 2025
