ALISON JONES is a musician, composer and producer with over 35 years experience, whose new original composition, ‘Resonance' is ready to tour from 2019 onwards.

Her extensive work includes performing internationally as featured solo violinist for two years with Irish dance spectacular “Spirit of the Dance” to sell out arenas in America, Europe and Australia. Previously with The Well Oiled Sisters (WOS), who opened Morrissey's 'Your Arsenal' European tour, 1992. She reached national and international critical acclaim for her musicianship and outstanding performances with WOS, whose popular schedule included TV, radio; major venues and festivals world-wide. The Well Oiled Sisters regrouped this year performing 3 concerts in July 2018 to celebrate a 20 years reunion at Rhythm Tree Festival, Isle of Wight; 100 Club, London and Charlton Park, WOMAD UK.

Over the last 10 years, Alison has successfully created and delivered projects in the local communities of East London and Shetland with her performing arts charity, Shapeshifter Productions. She now wishes to re-visit her artistic career as a musician and composer. 'Resonance' is a bold new step in concert performance, featuring seven musicians and two dancers. Composed by Alison, 'Resonance' was launched as a pilot tour in South West England in June 2018, supported by Arts Council England. Audiences were, to quote, "blown away" by the experience!
