Shoosh Ensemble
Shoosh ensemble is an " instrument-oriented " group that performed in the genre of World music, Fusion music with a touch of Middle Eastern rhythms.
For many years, the idea of creating a quartet ensemble was developed, researched and modularised by
Iranian - Austro Conductor and Musician " Hooman Khalatbari ”.
In 2020, it was officially introduced and after less than a year, in 2021, "Shoosh Ensemble" successfully formed.
Shoosh ensemble is an "instrument-oriented" group that includes piano, fiddle (Kamancheh), percussion and double bass instrumentalists and in some cases also benefits from a guest musician or singer.
In this ensemble, there is no priority in sound proportion; each instrument has an independent presence and characteristic and the result is a harmonic strain.
The music performed in this ensemble is in the genre of World music, Fusion music and Experimental music - with a touch of Middle Eastern rhythms.
Piano, fiddle ( Kamancheh ) and double bass instruments represent melodic and harmonic lines and besides them, percussion instruments are in charge of performing rhythm and non-melodic tunes.
In music, there's enough vocabulary that you can always figure it out. It ends at some point. It starts at some point. Between them, someplace, is where you go deep inside the piece, then go backward to find out how you got there.
" Shoosh " try to do that.
