ENSAMBLE TRÍPTICO is a Colombian instrumental group formed by the Andean bandola, piano, electric bass and drums, instruments from different musical traditions that create a sonority in which Colombian roots and contemporary sounds dialogue. His repertoire is based on the traditional airs of the Andean zone of Colombia: bambuco, pasillo, guabina, and some of the Colombian-Venezuelan plains, which are combined with clear influences of jazz and other urban music.
They have performed concerts in different halls of Bogota and the country since its inception in 2005, performing as special guests and as winners of festivals and calls of the national circuit of traditional music and jazz.(Grand Prize Mono Nuñez Instrumental 2007). In 2017 they were also part of the groups selected to represent Colombia in the cross activities with France, performing a concert tour in Bogota, Paris, Metz, Lyon and Luxembourg.
It has two recordings: Prólogo and Zumbatómico.
