Rasm Almashan is a singer of Polish - Yemeni origins. Born in Poland - Krakow in 1981 was raised in Aden - Yemen. She is mainly performing world music and open improvisation since 1999. The album "YEMENIA" is inspired by the stories and her life in Yemen in the early 90's. Immigrants from Africa who lived in Yemen also had a huge impact on Rasm's music.
Her music comes from her own observations on life, people and culture. This album is dedicated to Rasm’s family and people of Yemen who deserve peace and respect.
