Sonidos Enraizados has been following the trace of the Colombian musical traditions that maintain a vital relationship with their communities of origin but have been poorly documented.

Lucía Ibáñez, born in Peru and based in Colombia, is a researcher, videographer and cultural manager of traditional music with a Social Science degree.

Urian Sarmiento, born in Colombia, is a multiple-instrumentist, producer and researcher of traditional music since 1998. He's founder of the avant-garde band Curupira.
