SOROUSH MULTIMEDIA CORPORATION (SMC)

SOROUSH began its activities in 1987 . The company was aimed at producing radio and television advertisement as well as producing, duplicating and distributing audio / video Cassettes and CDs .
Since the second half of the year 1993 , with the settlement in the new building at Vali-e Asr avenue , SOROUSH has been entrusted in a new range or responsibilities on CULTURAL, COMMERCIAL and TECHNICAL areas by representing several major foreign professional companies on audio / video equipments as well as establishing 30 offices in different Iranian states to distribute the music products and a well equipped recording studio to support its products.
The company enjoys a catalogue of 250 different albums of Iranian music productions in various genres and 48 different video products on TV series and featured films.
SOROUSH has been collaborating with major Iranian composers namely Farhad Fakhreddini, Freidon Shahbazian, Mohammad Sarir , Parviz Meshkatian, Hamid Motebassem , Ahmad Ali Ragheb and eminent Iranian traditional vocalists such as Masters Mohammad Reza Shajarian , Ali Reza Eftekhari, Abdolhossein Mokhtabad, Hesamoddin Seraj, Abdolrasool Kargosha and a few Iranian Pop singers namely Ali Reza Assar , Mohammad Esfahani, Majid Akhshabi, Khashaiar E'temadi, Alireza Shahab, Ghasem Afshar and famous instrumentalists such as Masters Javad Ma'rofi , Jalal Zolfonoon, Parviz Meshkatian , Daryoush Safvat , Hossein Behroozi Nia,Ali Beglari Poor ,... and also folk groups whom cooperate with Soroush regional offices in 32 states.
As a sole agent in distributing Iranian music albums worldwide , SOROUSH has signed distributing contracts for a few albums with companies in Turkey ( Yeni Donya Muzik ), Germany ( Trubach Digital Tonstudio GmbH ) , UK( ARC Music Production Int'l ) , Switzerland ( Recording Arts SA ) , South Korea ( Hanbit System ) and France ( Dom Disques and Caracal ) . SOROUSH has its own representatives in France, England, Germany and USA .
SOROUSH as the representative of Iranian music producers has been nominated to participate at regional and international music exhibitions such as Gitex in Dubai, Kuwait Production Exhibition in Kuwait , Midem in France and Womex in Newcastle ( UK )and Sevilla ( Spain ) .
