Born and raised in North London, Sean Taylor is a multi talented artiste of many parts, a singer from the school of the great John Martyn, an accomplished song writer and a multi instrumentalist. CALCUTTA GROVE is the third full length album from Sean Taylor and on the strength of one listen, Sean was booked to play on the main acoustic stage at Glastonbury Festival.



'Calcutta Grove' has had spectacular reviews in publications as diverse as 'Uncut', 'Classic Rock', 'Maverick', 'Blues Matters', 'Americana UK', 'Net Rhythms', 'Blues In Britain', 'Rock N' Reel', 'Folk Radio UK' and 'Classical Guitar World', where Sean has been compared to John Martyn, Tom Waits and Bob Dylan.



The past year has seen Sean play at a score of festivals, including three stages at Glastonbury, Blue Balls in Lucerne, Tolpuddle Martyrs, Tenby Blues and Broadstairs Folk Week. As well as headline gigs across the UK, Sean has toured Switzerland and played support slots for the Neville Brothers, George Benson, John Fogarty (Creedence Clearwater), Band of Horses, Big Joe Turner, Curved Air, Otis Grand, The Groundhogs and Chickenshack.
