Finnish Youth Association (Suomen Nuorisoseurat) is a national non-governmental organisation which has over 700 local associations, 15 regional associations and over 50 000 members in Finland. All the associations organise various leisure time activities which are mainly based on culture such as folk dance, theatre, circus and arts.

Pispala Schottische, this lively international folk music and dance festival is an annual celebration of the joy of dance that fills the streets and squares of the old industrial city of Tampere with a versatile programme of indoor and outdoor concerts, competitions, training events, seminars, night dances and club evenings.

Dance Mania is a training and concert event of new folk dance and music that focuses on arranging courses and staging new folk dance productions. The courses are specially designed for directors and folk dance enthusiasts, and evening concerts are also open to the public.

Folklandia is Finland’s largest wintertime folklore event for all lovers of folk music and dance is backed by the main organisations, events and educational institutions in the field. Our 21st cruise will enjoy the hospitality of the newest TallinkSilja ferry, the Baltic Queen between Helsinki and Tallinn.
