AISVA was formed on March 27, 2007 in the town of Jonava, Lithuania. The band plays Lithuanian folk songs that mix folk and various styles of music. Their repertoire includes original compositions where the text and melodies approximate traditional folksongs. The band participates in city feasts and festivals in Lithuania and other countries: Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Ireland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Uzbekistan.
