Deeply mythical, Jah9 has become a feminine icon of a movement based on universal consciousness. Her philosophy, her spirituality and her style « Jazz on Dub » has been deployed in Europe and in throughout world since 2013 with a widely acclaimed first album: « New Name ». The album rapidly burst out of Jamaican borders and she quickly became a high priestess of the Jamaican movement « Le Reggae Revival ».
With her Jamaican band « The Dub Treatment », Jah9 plays in most of Europe’s and America’s big festivals. She has an enchanting vibration similar to that of recalling a certain Ella Fitzgerald, and a contemporary freshness in the same vein as Erykah Badu. Certified yoga instructor, she compels her audiences during her live sets to pause, breathe deeply and feel empowered. Her shows, described as “dark magic”, raise awareness and call each one of us to a spiritual awakening.
Today, she is widely settled and offers us her new album « 9 »at the end of 2016, soon to be remixed by a certain « MAD PROFESSOR » who gives us a dub version with « In The Midst Of The Storm » released in September 2017.
On November 7, 2017 came out the single "Feel Good" produced by Clive Hunt, then on April 3 came out the title "Love has found I". The new single "Field Trip" by Jah9 is the third release of his upcoming album "Feelings EP" (exclusive vinyl) which will be released on august on VP Records.
