Simien and his multi culti band mates are 25 year industry professionals and are some of the most in demand roots artists touring today. Simien has shared studio/stage with Paul Simon, Los Lobos, The Meters, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews Band, Ozomatli, Allen Toussaint and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band to name a few.

He regularly tours internationally and in 2006 has performed in Australia headlining the Sydney Festival for 100,000, the US Embassy/Cultural Center in Paraguay, Sao Paulo, Brazil and will travel to Mali with Carnegie Hall, NYC Global Encounters in Dec. 2006



He has presented his multiculti- educational-musical program [Creole for Kidz and the History of Zydeco] to 100,000 k-12 students in 20 states in the US, Canada, Australia and Paraguay.
