The Halle Orchestra / Manchester Music City

The Halle is interested in making contact with any artists or organisations interested in collabotive work with classical orchestral musicians. We have already run two successful projects with Indonesian Gamelan musicians, in Indonesia and the UK, both of which focused on the development of new repertoire.



We are keen to extend our work in this area to collaborate with other World Music artists.



Our delegate, Simon Steptoe, Gamelan and Creative Projects Officer for the Hallé, will be attending WOMEX from the late afternoon/evening of Friday 24th October and will be in Seville until midday on Monday 27th October.
