A blues Universe with a little Gospel touch
A groovy blues sung with soul by Kathy Boyé and picked up without compromise by her musicians. If her musical tastes attract her towards music like the blues / gospel and soul, she hasn’t forgotten her roots and likes to compose in English and in her mother tongue. She arranges and composes with her own roots and vocal colors. What fascinates her most is the very visceral and vocal qualities of blues music, and she sings the blues backed by the musicians of course, but also by the voices of Vocal Colors.
She has been sharing the stage with her "heartfelt"! group Mister Tchang, on guitar, Daniel Stec on keyboard, Greg Aguilar on the organ, Pascal Celma on bass guitar, et André Neufert on the drums, and the singers Christy G, Jimmy G James & Pegguy Petitot. For fifteen years, sharing the stages where Blues, soul, gospel and rhythm & blues intersect so naturally, defies any attempt at labeling ... For her, music is Absolute, emotion, Sincerity and Colors...
“The Power of my shoes” proposed by Kathy Boyé and Vocal Colors is a travel in the roots of blues and Gospel music.
Very visceral, a deep voice and sometimes the harmonica supported by all the band. This concert alternate deep soulful songs and rock blues electric songs, managed by the indomitable Mister Tchang.
Two hours, where you will sing, shout, dance, you will be taken and transported in the South of the United States, where Kathy stayed for a long time.

Un univers BLUES teinté d’une pointe de Gospel
Un blues groovy chanté avec les tripes par Kathy Boyé et envoyé sans concession par ses musiciens ! Si ses goûts musicaux l'attirent absolument vers une musique blues/gospel & soul, elle n’en oublie pas pour autant ses racines et aime composer en anglais mais également dans sa langue maternelle. Elle arrange et compose avec ses propres racines et couleurs vocales. Ce qui la passionne par-dessus tout c’est une musique blues très vocale et viscérale.
Elle partage la scène avec de grands artistes que sont Mister Tchang, à la guitare, Daniel Stec au piano, Greg Aguilar à l’orgue, Pascal Celma à la basse, et André Neufert à la batterie, et les chanteurs Christy G, Jimmy G James et Pegguy Petitot, scènes sur lesquelles Blues, soul, gospel se croisent avec un naturel qui défie tout tentative d’étiquetage… Pour elle la musique se décline avec Absolu, émotion, Sincérité et Couleurs…
Intitulé "The Power of my shoes" le concert proposé par Kathy Boyé et son DTG Gang est un véritable voyage aux racines du blues et du Gospel.
Un répertoire très "roots", viscéral, profond avec la voix et parfois l’harmonica, les guitares tantôt électriques tantôt slide de Mr Tchang qui lui répond, soutenus par tout le band.
