Tsuumi Dance Theatre

Tsuumi Dance Theatre is a Helsinki based professional dance theatre celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019. The company finds its unique strength in exploring folklore and creating new artistic ways to bring it to the stage. Tsuumi Dance Theatre is a collective of professional dancers, choreographers and musicians. Tsuumi's works consists of contemporary dance, Finnish folk dance, theatre and live music. Tsuumi produces 2–4 new performances per year and has a wide repertoire to tour with. Over the years Tsuumi Dance Theatre has collaborated with several Finnish leading folk musicians.
