"Universiti Putra Malaysia" (State University in Malaysia with 16 faculties). UPM Music Department is part of the Faculty of Human Ecology.

From its humble beginnings in 1971, UPM has continued to develop and has become one of the distinguished universities in the region. Commencing as an agricultural-based university, UPM has expanded its frontiers in various disciplines such as engineering, medical sciences, natural sciences, economics, management, education, languages, communication, human ecology and other fields.
The well known UPM Music Department is part of the Faculty of Human Ecology. It offers BA/MA and PhD courses in music performance, research, and music management.
