Singer and actress, Tosca is an artist with a natural leaning for research and music experiment.

Over the years she has worked with some of the greatest Italian and international artists, such as: Ivano Fossati, Nicola Piovani, Ennio Morricone, Chico Buarque, Ivan Lins, Riccardo Cocciante, Lucio Dalla, Renzo Arbore, Renato Zero and Ron with whom she won the most popular Italian music happening “Sanremo Festival” in 1996.

In 1997 Tosca won one of the most prestigious Italian cultural awards “Targa Tenco” as “Best Performer” with the album “Incontri e Passaggi” and “Best Album” in 2019 with "Viaggio in Italia", featuring the collective Adoriza. Last but not least she was awarded with two “Targa Tenco” as “Best Song” and “Best Performer” in 2020.

In 2019 Tosca gave her voice for Nicola Piovani’s "L’invenzione di un poeta", receiving a nomination for the “David di Donatello” awards in 2019 as "Best Original Song".

In February 2020, Tosca was back at the “Sanremo Festival”, where she won the “Giancarlo Bigazzi” Prize as “Best Composition” and ranked sixth position. At the same time she won the “Night of the Cover Songs” with a duet of LucioDalla’s“Piazza Grande” together with Silvia Pérez Cruz.

Tosca has released nine studio albums and six theatrical records.

Her latest studio album “Morabeza” was released in 2019 as a final step of a long journey around the world that started with "Il Suono della Voce” (The sound of the voice - 2014) and “Appunti Musicali dal Mondo” (Musical Notes from the World - 2017).
The album was produced and arranged by Joe Barbieri and it features original songs as well as contemporary reinterpretations of music classics from the world, sung in four languages with some of the international artists Tosca met on her trip: Ivan Lins, Arnaldo Antunes, Cyrille Aimée, Luisa Sobral, Lenine, Awa Ly, Vincent Ségal, Lofti Bouchnak, Cèzar Mendes and Silvia Pérez Cruz.

The three years world tour was set as the starting point for the documentary “The sound of the voice” (produced by Rai Cinema and Leave Music), directed by Emanuela Giordano and premiered at the Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma (2019).
A long journey with no borders around music and words that has been enriched over time by renowned collaborations including Marisa Monte, IvanoFossati, Ivan Lins, Alice Caymmi, Rogê, Luisa Sobral and many others.
Tosca won the 2020 “Nastrid’Argento” as “Best Performer” with “The Sound of the Voice”.

During the fall 2020, Tosca co-hosted the ten-episodes radio show “D’Altro Canto” on the Italian national radio RadioRai 3, together with the journalist and author Giorgio Cappozzo, releasing in February 2021 a limited special edition album “D’Altro Canto”, featuring some of the songs performed in the show, including Giacomo Puccini’s “Vissi D’Arte” for which a videoclip was filmed at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the same theater where Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca made its debut in the year 1900.

From her theatrical activity worth mentioning are the passionate interpretations of “La strada di Fellini”, Moliere’s “Il Borghese Gentiluomo” (Le Bourgeois gentilhomme) and “Il Grande dittatore” (The Great Dictator) by Chaplin alongside Massimo Venturiello, as well as raids into the social theatre such as “I Monologhi della vagina”, “Italiane” and “Donne come noi”.

Artistic training for the young generations has always been an important part in Tosca’s career, being the General Coordinator at “OfficinadelleArti Pier Paolo Pasolini”, a high artistic training laboratory and Cultural Hub of the Lazio Region since 2015.
