You know the famous saying that men are from Mars and women are from Venus?
Well, this is my way of inviting everyone to take on the soulful journey of the making of this lyrical Venus of mine — a planet of worded expressions which has formed this Play on Venus album.
You’ll find a perspective on love making, the compromising situations that we sometimes find ourselves in, the struggle we experience trying to control our thoughts and words (especially around that luteal phase), the way we feel like we can conquer the world at times or when we’re needing motivation and when we just want to be left alone.
This album, though it is written from a female perspective, has something that everyone can relate to and enjoy and I consider it a ‘Work Of Art’."
