The Swedish vocal quartet Kraja from Umeå consists of Linnea Nilsson, Frida Johansson and the sisters Eva and Lisa Lestander. Since they started in 2001 they have developed their music to an impressing level. The highly celebrated debut album “Vackert väder” was the starting point for Kraja touring around Sweden as well as Europe with a repertoire of Swedish corals, dance tunes and love songs. With the following album “Under himmelens fäste” the music reached a new level with well-known Swedish folksongs.
Kraja is now presenting their third album “Brusand hav” with a new direction of own-composed music to traditional lyrics and Swedish poems. The arrangements still have the same character with the close harmonies. This time Kraja has invited three guest musicians on some of the tracks: Jonas Knutsson on soprano saxophone, Petter Berndalen on percussion and the guitarist Nano Stern from Chile.
