With two albums released, two times nominated in Golden Melody Award (Taiwan), Sauljaljui is one of Taiwan’s most influential female indigenous musicians. She has a solid, powerful yet gentle voice, maintaining the structure of indigenous music, her work has a singular and immediate appeal with an integration of pop, folk, and world music. In her work, she holds to the motto of “finding a path home through music .”
She was selected in music markets such as Rainforest World Music Festival (MY) in 2017, Global Toronto (CA) in 2020, and ACC World Music Festival (KR), World Music Festival @ Taiwan (TW) in 2023. Sauljaljui’s presence is currently confirmed in Talinn Music Week (EE), Colours of Ostrava (CZ), Sfinks Mixed(BE) in 2024.
