Jazz saxophonist and composer Andre Woodvine is a graduate of Berklee College of Music (1986), majoring in saxophone/flute performance. For over 25 years, André's music has taken him to stages across the Caribbean, North America and Europe where audiences have enjoyed his passionate tone, exciting improvisations and unique compositions. His contributions to the development of the Barbadian music industry include serving on the board of directors of COSCAP and establishing an associate degree of music program at the Barbados Community College where he currently teaches part-time. André enjoys a close association with Martinique as a touring and recording member of the group Fal Fret for over fifteen years. Last year Woodvine completed online studies in film scoring and orchestration at the Berklee online school. André has produced four CDs of original Caribbean Jazz, available at www.andrewoodvine, www.cdbaby.com and iTunes world-wide.
