Five years after his World Circuit debut, Cheikh pushed his wide-screen musical visions even further with 'Bambay Geej'. Journeys into reggae, funk and even flamenco are complimented by arrangements from Pee Wee Ellis (ex James Brown and Van Morrison) and input from legendary Cuban flautist Richard Egües (Orquestra Aragón) and Malian vocalist Oumou Sangare, who duets with Lô on the magical "Lady and Shakara".
