World records is owned and operated by producer, performer, composer and engineer John MacLean. The 2009 track "Di Bombs" was released worldwide on the celebrated Rough Guides Afrobeat Revival compilation. MacLean is the co-creator of dance-floor-activism band Mr. Something Something of Toronto, Canada. He is attending Womex 2009 with strategic manager Derek Andrews and collaborator Larry Graves.
