Israeli percussionist and composer Yinon Muallem lives in Turkey and works in collaboration with musicians from Israel, Turkey and all around the world. He has his own band namely the "Yinon Muallem Ensemble". His music carries influence of Jewish, Turkish, Gipsy, Balkan and Indian music. The instrumentation in the band: violin, kanoun, oud, percussions (darbouka, daf, bendir, Iranian zarb, Indian kanjira), clarinet, kaval and vocals.
