Retrocumbia de Colombia: with her band Maguaré, jazz singer Paola Marquez rediscovers her Colombian roots in the dance rhythms of the cumbia. Founded in 2009 as a Latin big band, Maguaré sports a 4 piece rhythm section and a 5 piece horn section, and a repertoire of cumbia and other Afro-Colombian rhythms.
