Conti Bilong was born in 1970 at Nkongsamba in Cameroon.

He got interested in drums playing at the age of 13. After a year, he started playing in the clubs of Douala besides Ndedi Eyango and other famous artists of African stages.

In 1990, he goes on tour to USA with Sam Fantomas and on his return he decides to enrich his list with more international sounds (jazz, rock, Afro-Cuban music, salsa etc.).

After two years, he gets studio equipments and stars making several albums of Cameroon artists like Dina Bell, Ngalle johjo, Nkotto Bass, Jo Mbolle and thus becomes composer and arranger.

In 2000, he gets settled in France and continues his career besides Manu DIBANGO with whom he makes several international tours. He plays for films like "Kirikou and the Wild Annimals". Simultaneously he frequents Paris clubs like Baiser Sale, le Caveau des Oubliettes where he accompanies various groups.

In 2005, he attempts his own first album "Africa World" to the sound of Jazz junk on the base of makossa for which famous musicians like Etienne Mbappe, Guy Nsangue and Julien Agazar participate. To listen with taste
