A unique music group of Greek traditional music, who record, research, study and interpret tunes and songs from the Aegean area (the islands, peninsula of Asia Minor –coasts, Constantinople, Cappadocia, Pontos). The group was formed in 1992 and consists of members with music education as well as professional musicians (total of 18-25 members). The group’s performances include concerts and musicals. Members of the group also help in the organization of educational music workshops.
Musical instruments: violin, lute, oud, kanun, santour, traditional clarinet, bagpipes, as well as others.
