Pete's 3-way passion for classical, world and psychedelic music has been there since his teens and has pervaded all his major projects in differing proportions.
He was the founder and the driving force behind Anglo-Portuguese band Glow, well known on the UK world scene in the late 90s, and since 2005 Orchid-Star which continues the world-fusion theme, whilst retaining the motto 'never knowingly authentic'
He combines many roles - writer, producer, mastering engineer, performer, DJ and remixer including several commissions for Afro Celt Sound System and Dorothee Munyaneza.
Pete is at WOMEX primarily to promote and make connections for Orchid-Star, but is also very interested in talking to artists/labels about the possibility of remixes
