Stage phenomenon Brice Kapel is finally blowing Coloricocola outside the French speaking world: an interactive show for children and adults in which the flavors and tales of Africa help understand the realities of to-day's global society.
It's a long love story the tale of a young man born in Lome, the capital of Togo.
In the course of various adventures marked by major and independent releases, countless
concerts and numerous media appearances, Brice has explored a variety of paths in his musical career. Long years as a musical performer in schools in France and abroad gave birth to the interactive story-telling show, Coloricocola, next produced by Polydor Universal.
In 10 years two million people have seen this show, with an average of 200 concerts a year.
After the most prestigious Parisian venues, Opera Bastille and Opera Garnier, Brice Kapel begins 2012 with a new album and a new project. The album is Porto Seguro, the name of the village where his mother was born in south-eastern Togo.
In this album Brice performs covers of U2, Daniel Lanois, Sting and Peter Gabriel. He also sings songs from its inception-sounding pop, afro, electro, rock and world music. This new project is called "One Artist 2 Shows."
The concept: Brice performs two shows on stage, first Coloricocola to which children can invite their parents and next Porto Seguro, to which parents can invite their children.
If anyone tells you he is performing in your neighborhood, don't hesitate: it's a show you'll never forget.
