Mzungu Kichaa was nominated for Best Upcoming Artists and was invited to perform at this years Best African Achievement Awards held in Copenhagen at the Falconer Hall. Thanks to Celebrate Africa and all the fantastic performers, the show was a blinding success. The biggest cause for celebration was the huge turnout of enthusiastic and supportive guests who made it clear what this event was all about: to celebrate Africa. Mzungu Kichaa was very honored to receive the award for Best Upcoming Artist, and said that the award was reaffirming and that it was inspiring to see that people are supportive and proud of his work and that this in turn would inspire him to continue supporting and promoting East African music.
