One year back Country & Eastern released the Music of Ammasu albums. Shortly after that, Ahenkaan, one of the central people of the Ammasu Akapoma Group died, and now the chief of Ammasu, Nana Barima Kwame Amponsah Appiah, has died.
He will be buried at a grand funeral in Ammasu on october 2nd, so if you are near Dormaa-Ahenkro in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana at that time you should try to get to the funeral, it will be a great experience.
