RASPO is Reading All Steel Percussion Orchestra, an award winning steel band providing entertainment for events, parties, carnivals and festivals at home and abroad. RASPO has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, WOMAD festival, Glastonbury, for the London 2012 Olympics, live on BBC and ITV, and annually at London’s Notting Hill Carnival.
Named in honour of Trinidad All Steel Percussion Orchestra - TASPO, the first steel band to perform in Britain at the 1951 Festival of Britain RASPO offers workshops for schools, team building for businesses and performances at a range of events bringing a flexible and dynamic diversity with an uplifting repertoire to suit any occasion.
