Los Aslándticos is a fusion band from Córdoba
(Spain) that draws its roots from Flamenco, Reggae
and Balkan Music. Known throughout Spain for
their fresh and energetic LIVE show, the band
features three charismatic singers, two Spanish
guitars, bass, drums and percussion.
Los Aslándticos began when a group of friends
started making music at their hangout spot behind
an old cement factory in Cordoba. Here they
composed many of the songs that form a part of
their first album EL MUNDO ESTA FATAL DE LOS
NERVIOS, which has brought them to perform in
Spain's principle concert halls and festivals.
QUOTE>These first songs are the fruits of our
angst, where we begin to reflect our desire to sing
about the truths and the lies in this world... At the
beginning, we had nothing! No rehersal space, no
instruments, no training, no pretences. At first
people took us for a percussion group, but our final
intentions were always to mix this with reggae and
the feeling or soniquete of Andalucia.
They are currently recording their second album to
be released in spring 2007.
