"La Mar de Músicas" festival has
consolidated as one of the best festival of
world music in Europe. Festival of festivals,
it discovers a country's culture through its
music, art, films and literature every July
in Cartagena, Spain. Organised by the
Board of Culture of the City of Cartagena,
this festival is member of the European
Forum of Worldwide Music since 1998.
From its venue stage, impressive views of
the city can be seen, what enhances the
beauty of its scenario. "La Mar de Músicas"
has already performed special programs
about France. Mexico, South Africa, Turkey,
Argentina, India, Cartagenas of the World,
Mali, Brazil, Senegal, and Cuba. In 2009,
XV edition will be dedicated to Morocco.
