The Kamanche master player and the composer- Mark Eliyahu, and his father - Piris Eliyahu, composer & Tar player - are two of the most remarkable and respected figures in Israel's World Music scene today. Carrying their ancient cultural roots as the Mountain Jews of Caucasus Dagestan, they immigrated to Israel and have been performing along the years in numerous concerts, festivals and collaborations, both in Israel and around the world. The fruit of their creative musical cultivation, which is a genuine and colorful original Israeli music, is recorded on several albums.
