Noga’s new project LEV : the transformative vibrations of thousand-year-old poetry, in a dialogue between Hebrew and today’s music.
Geneva artist of Israeli-Berlin origin, singer, musician, improviser, Noga has been developing a career for twenty years that takes side roads, in complete freedom. After a dozen albums including one with Sony, LEV is her second recording in Hebrew. She explores a choice of psalms, cutting into them, carving, mixing and combining sounds. It is all done in a desire to elevate the vibrational frequency and the connection between beings, while playing a thoroughly current music. Eleven songs like a journey through the large musical spectrum of the artist, world jazz fusion. Noga's voice acts like a balm, alive and inhabited, supported by his soul mates, accomplice musicians. Could she bring us together by allaying our fears?
