L.U.C who was named " the artist of the XXI century" and "the Man of the Year 2007" by Gazeta Wyborcza, one of the biggest newspapers in Poland, undeniably has introduced new, fresh quality to Polish culture. By combining undefinable styles of music, movies, words and graphics he managed to create the first fully multimedia album in Poland. His highly charismatic and visionary projects go much further ahead of the boring, cliche productions of Polish showbusiness. Like in the theatre, his creations are usually a mixture of skilfully told stories, abundantly enriched by fresh concepts and a dramatic line. L.U.C surprises his audience with a fast and flexible language.

Many of the critics as well as his fans consider him a 'master of word' thanks to his technically perfect, incredibly intelligent and catchy lyrics, full of accurate, sometimes funny metaphors and comparisons. He combines his words with original music, which goes from nu jazz, through trip-hop to world music. He constantly and sucessfully defies the cliche productions of Polish popculture, and yet at the same time manages to thrive on its borders due to his great charisma and imagination.

He has been receiving increasing recognition from the press, while continuing to gain new fans reaching audience in different ages thanks to his unique, bold style. Many nominations and awards he won in the past few years only confirm his talent and potential (YACHY '05'06'07, FRYDERYKI '06'08, GWARANCJE TVP KULTURY '08, BRYLANTY DOLNO&346;L&260;SKIE).

Formerly supported by the authority of Leszek Mo&380;d&380;er, he has been spreading the so called idea of "podaj dalej"' (pass it on) making it possible for debutants like Nemy,Kejb or Pumex to meet renowed Polish artists like Andrzej Smolik, Urszula Dudziak or Maria Peszek.

In 2007 L.U.C along with K.A created eclectical soundscape for the C-Aktiv spectacle based on the texts of S.Witkacy (28PPA). It was a unique mixture of different styles and personalities. L.U.C and K.A. wrote music for Jan and Maria Peszek, Aga Dygant, Jacek Borusi&324;ski (MUMIO one of the most popular cabarets in Poland) and the newly born pop star of last couple of years Doda, among others.

In 2008 L.U.C received a nomination for the prestigious award Paszporty Polityki from POLITYKA -one of the most influential magazines in Poland.

His art defies categorization and is therefore often called anti-form unclassified and powerful conveyance based on various branches of art. As the artist admits himself "genres are only ingredients which I use to create my own dish. I think music is not divided into genres but simply into the kind of music that speaks the same language that our heart does, and the kind of music that doesn't".
