Singer, songwriter, actress Liraz Charhi has wowed crowds with her performances of stage, sound, and screen. Her debut self-titled album, Liraz Charhi, garnered wonderful acclaim. Her follow-up album, Only You’re Allowed, is a collaboration of Israel’s best writers and composers and combines modern sounds with the ethnic Persian flavor of Liraz’s upbringing.

Liraz, on her follow-up concert:
“The concert include songs chosen from dozens I gathered, many of which I wrote over the years. especially since the album and concert, returns me to my roots and the music I've brought from home, together with updated and electronic musical arrangements.”

In addition to her illustrious music career, Liraz is also an acclaimed actor. She got her start in acting when she starred in Israel's most successful film Turn Left at the End of the World. Charhi was nominated for best actress and the film was nominated for best film at The Israeli Academy Awards. The film’s buzz led to her next leading role in the highly rated Israeli television series The Champion. In addition to film and television, Liraz finds herself at home on the stage, starring as the lead in Israel's production of Guys and Dolls and other musicals.
Liraz made her US breakthrough when she was cast as the lead opposite Naomi Watts and Sean Penn in Fair Game. Liraz also cast as the love interest of Phillip Seymour Hoffman in "A Late Quartette".
An artist of sound, stage, and screen, Liraz is also a trained dancer. She currently resides in Tel Aviv.
