With the flavor that allows obtaining the first place in the category of Professional Gaita of the Festival Nacional de Gaita Francisco Llirene in the version number 36, Los Gaiteros de Ovejas premiered the EP AL MEJOR ESTILO, after the release of their two singles Nada te llevas y Zambrano.
This group that lives in the Heart of the Montes de Maria, region of the north coast of Colombia, returns to the ring with this new musical work of five songs that are born thanks to the success of trips, inspirations and encounters between Ovejas, Bogotá and Minca, molding its shape in a series of sound stories where a region that resists and is reborn is evident, thanks to the sound of the gaitas and drums, emblem and cultural legacy of the region, the country and the world.
The recording process was carried out in Christian Castagno's studio, located in Minca, a town in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. There the melodic creation exercise was carried out, in which these songs finished taking the form and sound that was conceived in Ovejas recently.
