Cristina Branco's Summer Tour with new dates in Portugal, Germany and Italy

After touring Europe through May and June, Cristina Branco will perform next Saturday, the 9th, at Cistermúsica, in Alcobaça (Portugal).

The challenge was created by the Cister Meta Orchestra (CISMO): to build a concert in which Cristina Branco interprets some of the most emblematic songs of her repertoire, re-orchestrated by the reknowned composers Carlos Brito Dias, Daniel Schvetz, Anne Victorino d'Almeida and Daniel Bernardes.

Thus was born the concept for this unprecedented musical journey, which will take place next Saturday, 9th, in the historical Monastery of Alcobaça (Cerca). This presentation will include great classics, originally written by Chico Buarque, Amália Rodrigues or Sérgio Godinho and interpreted by the singer throughout her 25-year career.

The very next day (10 July) Cristina Branco will perform in Coimbra, together with Salvador Sobral, in a tribute concert to Portuguese reference Zeca Afonso.

In 2022 Cristina Branco has continued to establish herself as one of the greatest ambassadresses of Portuguese culture in the world, accumulating dozens of sold-out dates in countries such as Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and France, where she was one of the names at the prestigious Jazz Sous Les Pommiers festival. Her agenda will continue throughout August, with concerts in Germany - in Laufenburg (6 Aug) and Dreieich (7 Aug) - and in Italy, at the Nora Jazz Festival (11 Aug).
