Fusing psychedelic grooves with northeast Brazilian rhythms and Tropicalia influences of the Brazilian late 60s era, Brazilian Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JER creates an eclectic sound that challenges preconceived notions of what constitutes traditional Brazilian music.

Born in the state of Bahia, JER is a musical sensation whose enchanting vocals, soulful melodies, and captivating stage presence have made her a prominent figure in the contemporary music scene. With roots deeply embedded in Brazil's rich cultural tapestry, JER's journey to musical stardom is a testament to her unyielding passion and artistic integrity. JER has performed at the Lulaworld, MIXTO, Calgary Folk festivals and is working on her first full length album to be released in 2024, following-up on her single, ‘Broken' released on the Lulaworld label in December 2022.
