Juan Carmona is for twice nominated with his last album Sinfonia Flamenca for Grammy Award 2007
After touring with his band all over the world and receiving several important awards (being nominated for Latin Grammy Award, Paco de Lucia Award, Villa Medicis Award, and others), Juan Carmona has just begun a new musical challenge: to compose a highly flamenco work for a classical music orchestra. This new creation has been interpreted in France and abroad in collaboration with a number of orchestras (Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de l'Opera de Marseille, Orchestre de basse Normandie, ....) with a great popular and critical success.
