This outstanding Brazilian soprano has achieved the affection and recognition of the public and the international media over the last 15 years as the main Brazilian soloist of André Rieu & Johann Strauss Orchestra, performing all around the world. Carmen has won several awards and took part in many opera seasons but it was in the Showbiz that she found a passion for the Crossover style. Her two solo albums “Carmen Monarcha CD/DVD” and “Amore” present to the audience a unique versatility throughout the repertoire of opera, jazz, musicals, cinema soundtracks and Brazilian music. Her new project “Carmen sings Callas” is a tribute to the great Maria Callas, and a journey through her life story and great repertoire. Together with the sopranos Carla Maffioletti (Brazil) and Mirusia (Australia) she is launching “The 3 Sopranos in Concert” show, to revive all the successful repertoire of the greatest melodies ever composed alongside her colleagues from the international tours with Andre Rieu & Orchestra.
