Carioca, born in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, PEDRO LOGÄN ‘drank homeopathic doses’ of rhythms from all over the world, through the father’s vast LP collection. He started playing drum in a yard of Candomblé, in the Alemão’s shantytown in 1996 and he founded a Brazilian rock band in 1999 where guitars and percussion had the same weight. Traveled to Europe in 2010 to promote his 1st solo EP, and threw in 2013/2014 his 1st solo CD ‘Alabê’. He became part of the ZANZAR – popular culture group – trying to find, increasingly, his roots and irrigate his music. The passion for his roots and the music of Brazil: a clear, true and incandescent connection. An encounter that goes far beyond the Brazilian music, passing through world of music, the spirituality and all possible connections between ‘heaven’ and ‘earth’, between singing, string and percussion.
